Cancellation and Reservation Policies
Cancun Adventures has the most popular tours in Cancun and Riviera Maya. Our excursions are all exclusive, reservations-only adventures. To ensure that each of our guests has the chance to experience the natural beauty, cultural encounters, and the excitement of personal discovery, our tours are organized in a small-group format. Cancellations and Changes
Once you receive a confirmation your reservation is guaranteed. In order to maintain our commitment to all of our guests, Cancun Adventures operates a strict cancellation policy:
Individual Reservations
- 48 hours or more in advance of the excursion date - 100% refund
- 24-48 hours in advance – date changes will be accepted without refunds
- No shows or late arrivals – no refund
Group Reservations
- 15 days or more in advance of the excursion date - 100% refund
- Less than 15 days prior to excursion date – date changes will be accepted without refunds
- No shows or late arrivals – no refund
Changes to your reservation or cancellations can be requested via email or by calling us toll-free from the US and Canada at 1-866-854-3460 or from Cancun at +52 (984) 206-5601. All changes are subject to availability.
Please note that for any unexpected circumstances that lead to last-minute cancellations such as Positive Testing for Covid-19, a Flight canceled by an airline, a medical event, etc, you must present a proof of the situation like a medical note, test results for covid-19 or airline flight status. Keep in mind that these documents must be under your name or family name. Upon receiving proof of the situation via email to: info@cancun-adventure.com, you will be eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling.
For Cruise Ship Guests
Full refund if the cruise misses port or is canceled, up to the day of cruise arrival.
Charges to your Credit or Debit Card
Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is placed on Vallarta Adventures’ official site - this is typically reflected in your account within 24 hours. If the date that you choose is unavailable, Vallarta Adventures will offer an alternative day or time. A 16% fee will be added at the time of purchase and will be determined at the point of checkout.
Prices and Exchange Rates
All prices are quoted in US dollars but charges will be made to your credit card in Mexican Pesos. We use the bank exchange rate of the day so that your bank statement reflects the published dollar price.
Credit Card Safety
Cancun-Adventure.com wants you to feel safe when making a secure reservation online. For this reason, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card number and other sensitive information when you book online. This process of encryption prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information and it is securely transmitted over the internet. Once received, your credit card information is not transmitted over the internet again.
On the day of your tour, you MUST bring your credit card and another form of your personal ID when you check-in. If the cardholder is not able to be present at check-in, CALL an Adventure Advisor immediately to receive important special instructions concerning your check-in process. A copy of your card (both sides) and ID can be emailed to us at info@cancun-adventure.com prior to your arrival.
