
Reservation & Cancellation Policies
Cancun Adventures' activities are the most popular tours and experiences in Cancun, so all our excursions are exclusively conducted by prior reservation.
For better control over bookings and payments, our rates and promotions are set at the time of booking, so we’re unable to adjust prices on existing reservations.
Once you receive the confirmation email, your reservation is guaranteed. If you haven't received it, please check your spam folder or contact us at info@cancun-adventure.com.
The following policies apply only to reservations made through our website www.cancun-adventure.com.
Online Transaction Fee
A 12% Online Transaction Fee will be added to your order at checkout. It is listed in the Summary breakdown as Fees.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 48 Hours Before Tour: If you cancel and request a refund at least 2 days (48 hours) before the tour, there's a 10% charge for administrative expenses.
- Less than 48 Hours Before Tour or No-Show: If you cancel less than 48 hours before the tour date, arrive late, or don't show, no refunds or changes are allowed.
- Operator Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel tours due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational issues, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we always strive to provide the best alternatives available for the affected activity. This may include rescheduling for a different date, opting for an alternative tour, receiving a one-year credit, or, in some cases, a partial or full refund.
Weather & Sea Conditions Policy:
At Cancun Adventures, the safety and well-being of our guests and crew are our top priorities. All of our tours are operated in accordance with official port authority regulations and only proceed when conditions are deemed safe.
Please note:
- Tours may operate under cloudy skies, light rain, wind, or choppy seas, as long as the conditions remain within our strict safety standards.
- Ocean conditions can vary and may affect comfort levels for some guests, especially on open-water tours.
- Experiencing motion discomfort does not qualify for a refund, as these are natural and unpredictable elements of being at sea.
- In the event of severe weather or unsafe sea conditions, tours may be rescheduled or canceled, and guests will be notified as soon as possible.
We kindly ask all guests to consider their personal comfort with motion and weather variations before booking an ocean-based activity.
Date Changes
- 24 Hours Before Tour: You can change your tour date for free if you request it at least 24 hours before the tour. Changes depend on availability.
Changes to reservations or cancellations must be requested via email at info@cancun-adventure.com or by calling toll-free from the United States or Canada at 1-866-854-3460, or from Mexico at +52 984-206-5601.
Group Reservations
- Group reservations canceled more than 15 days before the tour date are subject to a 10% administrative expense charge.
- We will accept date changes less than 15 days before the tour date, but there will be no refund. All changes are subject to availability.
- No changes or refunds apply if you are a no-show, arrive late, or cancel within 48 hours of the tour departure.
For Cruise Ship Guests
All cruise ship passenger bookings must be made through your cruise line's website. A full refund applies to all passengers booking through the cruise line website if the cruise misses port or is canceled up to the day of cruise arrival.
Charges to your Credit or Debit Card
Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order on Cancun Adventures’ official site. This charge is typically reflected in your account within 24 hours.
Prices and Exchange Rates
All prices are quoted in US dollars, but charges will be made to your credit card in Mexican Pesos. We use the bank exchange rate of the day so that your bank statement reflects the published dollar price.
Credit Card Safety
Cancun-Adventure.com wants you to feel safe when making a secure reservation online. For this reason, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card number and other sensitive information when you book online.
This encryption process prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information, and it is securely transmitted over the Internet. Once received, your credit card information is not transmitted over the Internet again.
Fraud Prevention
As part of our Fraud Prevention Policy, the person who made the purchase may be asked to present the credit card used and a valid government-issued ID at the time of check-in.
If the cardholder cannot be present, a copy of their credit card (both sides) and identification must be sent by email to info@cancun-adventure.com at least 24 hours before the tour.
